on the ABC Diet when I start eating and try to limit my food amounts, it usually backfires and I just keep eating. Also if I eat breakfast, I tend to get super hungry an hour later. When I don't eat breakfast and don't get hungry till 4pm. What should I do?
When it comes to limiting your food you have to be really careful. It takes a while to get into the habit of only grabbing one pretzel or only one carrot and not just sitting down with the whole bag in front of the TV. But one day it will be possible! If I eat 3 pretzels, I get full now. That’s when I know to stop. You’ll get there too, don’t worry. It just takes time. Until then, never sit down with a whole serving. Cut everything in half and I mean, everything.
I would definitely say to continue eating breakfast but eat a small amount. Then I just always have a low or zero calorie drink with me and gum (I also smoke cigarettes too but I don’t suggest anyone picking up that habit). Carbonated water is always my drink of choice because carbonation fills me up so you might want to give that a try!
It’s going to take your body a little while to get used to not eating. The hunger pains will be bad, just remember if this is what you want they’re worth it. They’ll get better eventually and rather than eating being your habit, not eating will become your habit. It all just takes time.
